Web Developer / SEO Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a full-time employee with the ability to hand code HTML and modify existing static and dynamic web sites by applying current search engine optimization techniques. This position is a good fit for webmasters and computer science college graduates or those with equivalent experience.

Day to day responsibilities include

• Modifying existing websites (static — html and dynamic — PHP, ASP, .NET) by applying search engine optimization techniques (all SEO training will be provided)
• Using html editor (Dreamweaver, Homesite, Ultraedit or Notepad)
• Working with FTP and CMS (content management system such as Yahoo Store etc.)
• Utilizing CSS and JavaScript
• Creating additional pages for search engines
• Altering SQL queries

Required Experience

3+ years minimum hands-on experience with the following:

• Hand-coding HTML
• PHP, ASP or .NET
• CSS and JavaScript
• MySQL or SQL server

Preferred, but not required

• VB, C++, C#
• Advanced SQL experience
• Web server management (Apache or IIS)
• Past web developer work in a corporate environment
• Knowledge of Search engine optimization
